Pregnancy is a beautiful phase but also a sensitive time where mothers have to be extremely cautious of their health as well as their baby’s well-being. But do you know that only 1 out of 10 pregnant women choose to do some sort of physical movement, such as exercise or yoga, during and after the pregnancy? The lack of physical flexibility often affects a child’s growth and development.
Recently, at our Rudra Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh, we conducted a survey where we educated pregnant women and mothers about the importance of yoga in the Prenatal and Postnatal phases of pregnancy and also asked about their concerns about not including yoga in their daily pregnancy routine.
This helped us understand that there is a lack of trained professionals who can provide them with prenatal and postnatal yoga training.
So, we decided to focus on bridging this gap by introducing our specialized Pre & Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training Course at Rudra Yoga Ashram. This program is designed to empower teachers & instructors with the expertise needed to guide pregnant women and new mothers through an enriching yoga practice that is safe & promising.
This course is for nurturing mothers—the greatest of all.
To birth, one needs to nurture the roots of origin. Have you ever thought about how Yoga will impact the growth of your newborn? And the one who nurtures needs strength to feed the inner channels of herself to become a sufficient provider.
Prenatal yoga is yoga performed during the time of pregnancy. It is a practice specially designed to celebrate the profound journey of expectant mothers, where she is trained to be more powerful and enduring physically and mentally. During this phase of pregnancy, a woman needs a nurturing environment that contributes to her overall health and cultivates more energy and resistance. At Rudra Yoga Ashram, we offer prenatal yoga courses customized according to expectant mothers' needs and requirements and support a healthier, comfortable, and smoother birthing experience.
As you welcome the most precious gift of your life (your newborn), the journey for a mother continues to be even more challenging. She has to undergo many physical transformations and changes that demand comprehensive care and effort.
This postnatal yoga course is designed to help mothers regain the effectiveness, energy, strength & mental peace that was once invested during the prenatal phase.
Post-pregnancy yoga is the best choice that mothers choose to opt for. It is a great way to get yourself back and embrace motherhood with renewed mental & spiritual energy.
